Kansas Military Legal Assistance Pilot Project

On November 5, 2012, Chief Justice Nuss greeted KBA President Lee Smithyman, Kansas Legal Services executive director Marilyn Harp, and volunteers for the Kansas Military Legal Assistance Pilot Project. Kansas was chosen as one of three states for the initial testing of a pro bono recruitment effort for helping veterans.
